As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Tasman Geotechnics, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of geotechnical projects. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting geotechnical investigations, site inspections, and assessments
• Collaborating with the wider team of Engineers and Geologists to ensure project objectives are met
• Mentoring and guiding junior Engineers
• Maintaining client relationships and delivering high-quality Engineering services

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

To be considered for this position, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or similar), ideally with a focus on Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering/Geosciences. You should also have 5-10 years of prior demonstrated experience in Geotechnical Engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Your ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently without supervision will be paramount to your continued success at Tasman Geotechnics. Your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you’re able to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, while your strong organisational and project management skills will ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget.

You should also have a familiarity with Australian Standards, including AS1726, AS2159 and AS5100.
